most expensive paintings

How much must one pay for an exquisite painting? A couple of hundred bucks or a thousand or a million? The price needs to be worth the time, imagination, vision and skills of the painters. Collecting paintings is also a type of hobby; some adorn their personal places with it while others preserve them in museums. There are bidding sessions and the highest bidder gets the painting. Sounds fun!
