Each day comes as a challenge to us. Here is a list of 15 tips to make everyday a positive and fresh purely based on personal experience. These are not any hard and fast rules but some lifestyle changes to enjoy your own company and life –

1. START YOUR DAY WITH A GLASS OF WARM WATER:

This habit is advised even by Ayurveda. A glass of warm water helps both the mind and the body to warm up and get ready for the day.

2. READING NEWSPAPER DAILY:

Reading newspaper can help you know the world better and be up to date. This will also help to understand the surrounding create constructive mind.

3. DRINKING AT LEAST A CUP OF YOUR FAVOURITE NON ALCOHOLIC DRINK EVERY  DAY:

We all have one favourite beverage. Drinking that in the middle of the day can boost up your energy. There are many options from smoothies, juice, tea, coffee, green tea  etc. But, make sure you drink those drinks without sugar , otherwise excessive intake of sugar can harm you.

4. SPENDING 10 MINUTES EVERYDAY,WITHOUT ANY ELECTRONIC GADGET,ALONE:

Electronic gadgets are part and parcel of our life. However we all know it’s negative effects. We can create our own style of meditation. Just switch of all the electronic gadgets and be alone for 10 minutes everyday, preferably in open areas,enjoy your own company.

5. 10 MINUTES WORK OUT EVERY DAY:

We all live a very fast life, where we complain about lack of time to go to the gym. But to be mentally healthy, we should include at least some kind of physical activity like dancing or jogging or skipping rope or any other thing which we enjoy.

6. TALK TO YOUR PARENTS DAILY:

Many people , today stay outside home for work and study. Though people are busy, but everyone should manage half an hour to talk to their parents.

7. MANAGE A DAILY JOURNAL:

People should maintain a daily journal , where they should write down the plans of the next day and the works they have done that day. It can help putting together one’s life.

8. CLEANING YOUR OWN ROOM ONCE A WEEK:

Cleaning the room you stay in and arranging it properly in your way can give you satisfaction. It also helps you to know yourself better and refreshes your mind.

9. TAKING CARE OF YOUR SKIN ONCE A WEEK:

It is also a very important point to be comfortable in your own skin. You need not go to the salon, just get some time at home and use your kitchen ingredients. It is equally applicable for men too. Everyone should maintain a good personality by cutting the nails, trimming hairs regularly etc.

10. CUTTING OFF FROM THE VIRTUAL WORLD ATLEAST ONCE A MONTH:                                                                            

We all are grabbed by social media and the internet. However it is very healthy to give up all of those at least one day per month. That day you can spend your time by meeting friends, grandparents, relatives or stay alone but without any technological  interference.

11. FASTING ONCE A MONTH:

Fasting is a way of detoxing your body. People now a days eat lots of junk because of the busy lifestyle. So it is important to give rest to the body.

12. READING A BOOK EVERY MONTH:

It is a good habit to read at-least one book per month. The book can be of any topic you like but try to sit, read a book or anything in a hard copy. It will improve your mental health. It will also increase your patience and eventually you will start liking it.

13. PASTE YOUR FAVOURITE QUOTES AND PICTURES IN YOUR ROOM:

This habit will help you for your entire life . The things you write by yourself are more convincing to you than any other thing. Looking at them, can help you, overcome your low times. These not necessarily be motivational , but those things which bring smile on your face.

14. GET TIME TO DEVELOP YOUR HOBBY:

We all have atleast one hobby , which we enjoy doing. Be it reading , writing, singing, dancing or any sport. Just try to get some time in a while to culture that hobby, so that we get the energy to go on in our lives. It can break the monotony of your life and can refresh your mind.

15. SET GOALS AND CHALLENGE YOURSELF TO COMPLETE IT:

Always try to do things out of your comfort zone. Be it a solo trip or master the leg split, it can be anything. You can set a time limit to reach your goal and reward yourself if you pass your own challenge. The feeling after trying new thing is very satisfying and the best way to motivate yourself.
