We are pretty busy with our daily life routine. We all want to arrive on time and yet crave that extra time in bed. So the trick is to multi-task and nail a 15-20 minutes routine every morning.
1. Waking up
Are you also one of those people who put an alarm every 10 to 15 minutes? Well, the trick to waking up is to get up at the very first alarm and drink a glass of water. This will help you to wake up and also drinking water early morning without having anything and before also keeps you healthy. Just a pro tip.
2. Freshening up
As soon as you wake up, go and freshen up and also after that brush your teeth quickly and nicely. Apply face wash or face scrub, whatever you like to do while brushing and then rinse off.
That’s where we take most of the time. So in order to bath quickly, play a song of say 2-3 minutes, it could be your favorite song because then you’ll know when it ends. And the length of the song is the only time you have to bath. Hop out of the shower as soon as the song ends.
Next difficult thing is to decide what to wear. So you should decide what you’re going to wear the previous night and keep it prepared for the next morning.
They should also be decided the past night. Keep everything ready in advance so that you don’t have to look for things and as it is said when running late, you’ll never find your things.
Normally we don’t have a lot of footwear to choose from. So that doesn’t take a lot of time. You could pick that in the morning itself based on the way you feel like.
Another step that takes a lot of time or in other words, most of the time. Now nobody would sit for an hour or so daily just to apply makeup. So the trick is multi-tasking which, by now, you’re used to. If you love wearing makeup daily then you better use products that are multipurpose for example lipstick on its own and as a blush.
No need to go for a fancy hairstyle. Just make sure you look elegant and neat even if it’s a simple ponytail. You could even look for simple running late hairstyles and pick a few for yourself.
Now that’s something a lot of us skip on, but we shouldn’t! Just to reach on time doesn’t mean you skip on your breakfast. Even if you don’t have time to sit down and eat you should pack something good to eat and have it on your way.
10. Packing your stuff
The best way is to make a checklist on your phone and just tick off whatever you’ve kept and add on whatever’s left. This way you won’t miss anything and you’re mentally prepared for the day.
11. Arranging stuff
Now if you carry a lot of stuff and tend to forget where you kept your belongings then, assign a particular space for a particular stuff, for example, keep your small belongings in the smaller pocket or space.
Before walking out, lock your house properly in case you live alone and always switch off all the lights and fans. Double-check on all the locks.
If you use public transport then make sure you reach on time and catch your local at the respected time. In case you travel by cab then make sure you call for it beforehand so that you don’t have to wait later on.
While you’re on your way, meanwhile you could have a planner to plan your day or just right it down on your phone or any notebook so that you’re sorted for the day.
Lastly, relax. Now that you’re about to reach, think of all the good things and start your day on a happy note.
